Priority axis 4 of Emilia-Romagna Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020: interventions for the implementation and qualification of cycle tracks in Modena

Priority axis 4 of Emilia-Romagna Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is focused on “Promotion of the low carbon economy in regions and in the production system”.

In particular, Priority axis 4 - Investment priority 4a - Action 4.6.4 aims at contributing to the implementation of the “Development of the infrastructure necessary to the use of environmentally-friendly means of transport, also through charginghub initiatives”. Eligible interventions consist, for example, in the creation of pedestrian areas, in the building of cycle networks and tracks, in the promotion of environmentally-friendlyvehicles.

The City of Modena has received funding in the frame of this Priority axis, with the aim of implementing the following cycle tracks in the urban area: Via Emilia Est (Crespellani - Pozzo); Via Emilia Est (Fusco - Caduti sul lavoro); Via Emilia Est (Fossalta - Scartazza); Via Montecuccoli - Viale Kosica; Via Ganaceto - Località Appalto; Via M.L.King - Torrazzi.
